Founder of Multimedia Nova-lux 30 years ago in Montréal. He has been the producer and/or creator of numerous large scale spectacular experience shows around the world including many operas.
Through his various projects, he revolutionize the way creators use the scenic space and technology to present large mixed media entertainment, opera, gala evenings, cultural, sporting and corporate events. He developed innovative techniques for projecting images, integrating fixed images, graphic design, video and film with live performances all projected on multi-format surfaces.

Depuis 13 ans, les Chinois applaudissent un spectacle de cirque conçu par un Québécois. Vu par cinq millions de personnes à Shanghai, ERA – The Intersection of Time est l’œuvre d’Érick Villeneuve. « Le spectacle est devenu un classique », mentionne le metteur en scène au Journal.
Plus grand vendeur de billets en Chine depuis 2005 avec plus de 5 000 spectacles et plus de 5 millions de billets vendus, le spectacle « ERA Intersection of Time » du metteur en scène et concepteur artistique québécois Erick Villeneuve, rouvrira ses portes le 24 novembre prochain, après une pause de 3 mois pour rénovation de théâtre.
Dix ans après « Cavalia », le metteur en scène et concepteur Erick Villeneuve et son entreprise montréalaise Novalux renouent amitié avec les artistes à quatre pattes grâce à « EQI », spectacle musical équestre de Frédéric Pignon et Magali Delgado les stars à l’origine de « Cavalia ».
Le jeudi 5 décembre se tenait à Pékin la conférence de presse présentant le troisième spectacle en Chine de la firme montréalaise Novalux intitulé « Immortal Chi », une combinaison d’arts martiaux et de musique avec 15 artistes Kung Fu et 9 musiciens live sur scène jouant des percussions, erhu, ruan, guzen et plusieurs autres instruments chinois, guidés par la mise en scène de Erick Villeneuve et la direction musicale de Luc Boivin.
